OUR MUSICAL DIRECTOR
Laura Pike
Laura’s professional journey began in 1992 when she graduated with a Bed(Mus)Hons in Music, specialising in singing and piano studies. Following graduation, she held a variety of roles, most notably serving as Director of Music at Albyn School, Aberdeen.
In 2014, she decided to take her career in a new direction and trained as a financial adviser. This led to the launch of her own business, The Pike Partnership Ltd, in 2024. Since then, the business has continued to grow and go from strength to strength.
Alongside Laura’s professional career, music and choirs have always remained a passion. During her time at Albyn School, she directed a number of choirs and has continued to be involved with choral singing over the years. She was also one of the founders of Sing, Sing, Sing! alongside Fiona Kennedy.
Of her appointment to the Aberdeen Orpheus Choir, Laura said “I am delighted to be embarking on this exciting new chapter and look forward to sharing my love of music with others.”
