Welcome to the Aberdeen Orpheus Choir!

If you enjoy singing and can have a reasonable grasp of music notation, we would love to hear from you. Our rehearsals are enjoyable and productive. We aim for polished and professional performances.

We rehearse on Wednesday evenings at 7:15 pm in Mannofield Church.

All your music will be supplied at no extra cost.

We particularly welcome tenor and bass singers.

The choir is a good size currently, but a couple of vacancies have arisen recently.  Prospective new members who have a reasonable ability to read music can audition with a view to joining the choir in the next session.  It's a relaxed and friendly audition - nothing intimidating!  It's usually done in an online meeting.  Prospective members sing a prepared piece of their choice, with or without accompaniment, then do a bit of simple music sight reading which is displayed on the screen.

You can also sit in on a rehearsal sometime to see what we're like!
